With less than a month to go and over 80% of registrations done, the next edition of the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship is set to be another huge event in the United Arab Emirates. In its 15th edition, the ADWPJJC 2023 will feature ten days of intense action at the Mubadala Arena, a stage that has become well-known for its modern infrastructure and the comfort it provides to the best athletes in the world.

The tournament starts on November 1st and 2nd, with the best and brightest gems of the next generation taking point at the debut with the Abu Dhabi World Festival Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023, followed by the Abu Dhabi World Youth Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023, with more young and determined athletes fighting for their dream of leading a great career in competitive Jiu-Jitsu

Then, on November 5th, it’s time for the Abu Dhabi World Amateur Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023, with the brave white and blue belts getting a taste of the challenge and glory ahead of them as they step onto the most important stage in international Jiu-Jitsu. But that’s not all, as the veterans of the Abu Dhabi World Master Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023 take control of the mats on November 6th and 7th, bringing all their experience and technical knowledge to not only seize the coveted gold medal but also set the stage for the climax of the competition.

Closing the week on a high note, the toughest competitors of the gentle art make their way to the UAE on November 8th, 9th, and 10th, gunning for the top of the podium at the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2023. With athletes coming from all over the world to fight tooth-and-nail for the gold, the always-challenging ADWPJJC will feature seven weight divisions in the men’s black belt category and five in the women’s brown/black category, with the high-octane country qualifiers taking place in the first day. Once the main bracket fighters have been determined, they’ll go up against each other on the second day, reserving the third and last day of the tournament for the grand finals, which will unveil the Heroes of the ADWPJJC.

Notable names from the ADWPJJC and other AJP tournaments around the world have already saved their spots in the competition, such as the local stars Faisal Al Ketbi, Zayed Alkatheeri, Sultan Alowais, and Shouq Aldhanhani; the daring Brazilians Meyran Maquiné, Yuri Hendrex, Cleber Clandestino, Alex Sodré, Lucas Protasio, Uanderson Ferreira, Marcos Carrozinno, Wallace Costa; in addition to powerful women like Gabriele Pessanha, Mayssa Bastos, Tayane Porfírio, Julia Alves, Ingridd Sousa, Alexa Yanes, Yara Kakish, and many others.
